We just got back from seeing "300" at the dollar theater (well ok, so it's the "3-dollar" theater except on Tuesday when it actually *is* a dollar theater.) But irregardless, Yes, it's definately a guy flick with lots of blood and beheadings but having said that, it's not as gory as it could have been. The plot was straightforward, easy to follow. There is a nakey man with a mighty fine...er...hindquarters in this...but then there is the pre-requisite female nipple shot in there too (actually several shots of two different women as I recall) but who's counting? ANYWAYS, I only fell asleep once and only for a couple seconds. So I give it a thumb's up review.
The main bad guy, Xerxes (or however you want to spell it) was...um...not very intimidating...and I much liked the South Park rendition of the character MUCH better, but otherwise, it was pretty good movie in general. I LOVED the music throughout the whole of the movie.
