Cripes, who SHOULD be there is a whole new can of worms. And I'll give you Martha Wash. That woman could sing down a brick wall and she's never really gotten the credit she deserves. And I'll gladly give you Daryl Hall from earlier. That man sings like flowing golden honey. And has hair to match. I'd kill a close relative for that kind of hair.

There are plenty of great voices that didn't make that list simply because of the material they sang. Sammy Hagar comes to mind as a good example of that. I'd even include Sebastian Bach in that category. The guy's a complete doofus but he could sing his ass off. I'd even be crazy enough to include Richard Butler from The Psychedelic Furs. He doesn't have a traditional voice but I love the way he delivers a song with so much feeling. But that's just me.

Where the hell is Levi Stubbs? Where the hell is Diana Ross? Where's Nat King Cole? Where's Miss Shirley Bassey? WHERE IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY IS TOM JONES?!??!
