Seeing as Pittsburgh is my newly adopted town, I suppose I should post what's good to eat here.


We've eaten at cheap places since we be po' from moving. Thankfully da 'burg is not really all that expensive anyway.

Hungry for chinese? Go to the Brentwood neighborhood and try Lotus Garden (the are pretty good) or try Imperial Palace. They are both really good, although Imperial Palace is more affordable (and they have a wee little baby that is always there that is just so cute. He toddles around in his walker and has the cutest chubby cheeks.) Both are good places to eat.

Want pizza by the slice? Try Danny's on 51, $1.75 per humungous slice of cheese pizza, or 25 cents for each extra item. Their salads are really yummy and very filling (again a bargain at $3.25), there really isn't any place to sit down there though, so you have to eat in your car. Hubby says they have great sandwiches (although I can't seem to get past ordering the same thing all the time to try the sandwiches.)
