I've been working on the chatroom today, installing a new upgrade of the software, as well as some modules for it. The modules include:
Audio/Video Module - Not sure what this does yet
Banner - still sorting this one out, too
MP3 Player - Pretty self-explanatory
Text Ads - We won't be using this one
Web Radio - Listen to the stations from a player in the chat room
Whiteboard - OK, don't know enough about this one yet either. I should probably have researched the modules more before posting about them.
The main reason I'm installing the modules is the MP3 player and the web radio. I expect the upgrades to be completed in about an hour from now. Enjoy!

Seems to be problems with the web radio portion. Problems along the lines of everything sounds like the chipmunks. So, the chat software is updated, but the modules aren't on yet.

The chat software has now been integrated into the forum, so when you log in to the chat room, you must use your forum username and password. This also means you must be a registered member of the forum to use the chat room. Play with it, see how we like it, or if we want to go back to using a "stateless" chat room.

I have also now implemented some code which displays in the stats field at the bottom of the forum how many people are in the chat room, and who they are.

Thundervamp, Midas, and Myself Do try to put on great shows, and it's so great for us to have such fantastic listeners!
As VBulletin has advanced, it would appear that our AJAX chat has simply lost the ability to work with vB. We'd have lost integration with the regular FlashChat if people hadn;t kept up with it over time like they have.
As a result, I have disabled our ajax chat and will no longer be supporting it. I just simply can't make it work right anymore.

Look at it this way...no more confusion about which chat to use.
