Due to a connection that has dropped in and out continually today, I've switched CGR into Basic mode. It'll be there until they get a tech out here tomorrow to figure out what the hell's going on. Hopefully I'll be Live and able to take requests again sometime tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yeah, we'll see. SBC/Ameritech/Yahoo/AT&T don't exactly have a great track record at solving the problem immediately. I've already seen some ugliness this morning in the radio software log.
It better be fixed by next Saturday. That's all I know.

The station will probably be in Basic mode again sometime either tonight or tomorrow morning. We'll be doing our best to repair a situation that has gone on for far too long...namely the explosion of dangling wires that constitutes my current phone hub.
For those of you that need a reminder, this is what it currently looks like and has looked like since we moved in over two years ago.
As you can see, the people that lived here before us weren't exactly phone experts. We've put it off as long as we could but it's time for some intense phone repair.
Hopefully it will be a quick fix and I'll have the station back to normal soon. I also hope it improves the quality of the connection and we don't have the nonsense we had during the last edition of PAGZ. When I know, you'll know.

Lookey at all the pretty wires. DON'T cut the red one...I think that is the one that, when you cut it the movies, always makes the little countdown clock thingy go beserk and everything explode.
I used to make pretty electrical wire rings when I was a little girl. (And THAT was today's Random biographical moment). Don't even ask what I did with electrical tape.
Can you do house wiring? My parents house is a tinderbox waiting to happen. Now all I gotta do is convince them of that.
Sheeyit. You think *I* did it? HELL no. My wife, the engineer, did it. I got to do stuff like hold the screwdriver and get her a soda. No one with an ounce of brains would let me repair anything.

And CGR is now BACK in Basic Mode again. Outward appearances make it seem that my old D-Stink router is finally starting to give up the farm. My connection, as some of you already know, has been sporadic for days. As soon as I can get this router replaced, I HOPE everything will be fine and back to normal.
