Don't get me started on Imus. I've hated that shit bag for years, he's a woman hating, racist, bigoted fuckball. I've never really liked him but that dropped to hate after the whole incident when MSNBC assigned Contessa Brewer to work with him and he treated her like utter garbage because she wouldn't put up with his and his team's sophomoric bullshit. She finally had enough, called him a "cantankerous old fool" who doesn't know how to relate to "beautiful women."
This mild comment she made to a friend where a gossipist overheard it and reported was enough to cause this flurry the next day from Imus:

Imus: "Why would she want to say anything about me with (Page Six scribe) Richard Johnson sitting near by? She must have been liquored-up. I was trying to keep my big mouth shut. But not anymore."
They called Contessa a "bimbo" with no sense of humor who got her job by winning a hot dog eating contest, that she makes Paris Hilton look like Condaleeza Rice (in intellect), that's she's an "ignorant slut."
Now, the thing is, I KNOW Contessa Brewer. We grew up for years together, she was my sister's best friend. She's stayed in our home, we visited hers. She is
A. NOT stupid in the least bit - She was always damned smart with schoolwork, and she graduated Magna Cum Laude from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
B. NOT fat in any way.
C. Not a skank, slut, or any of the above.
The guy is a complete moron, his sycophantic morning team have the combined IQ of a turnip, and I would agree that he does feel threatened by women, especially those with smarts. And he treats people like shit to make himself feel better. The world would be far better off without this guy.

But that "nappy headed hos" comment still tickles me for some reason. I can't believe the show wasn't yanked and some technical difficulties thing aired in its place at that point. I'm not sure if the comment is truly amusing or just so shocking that you have no choice but to laugh.
