I never had any inclination that a missile hit the Pentagon; I always thought/heard it was a plane.

My childhood friend worked at the Pentagon when it hit. Fortunately I was able to get a hold of him 38 hours after the incident.

What a devastating day. My heart sank to my stomach as I watched the second plane hit on live television, as well as the South Tower collapsing (I was at work). I'm not rushing to see this video footage.
