The article mentions that the parents had "concerns" over their relationship. If they knew something was wacky, why the HELL did they not go to the police with it and lodge a formal complaint? Why sue the school after she's already married the old fool and he's resigned from teaching?

Some people are STUPID.

The Hagers have said they reluctantly signed a consent form allowing their daughter to marry her coach.

"Yeah, we let her do it but we're suing! After all, we did it RELUCTANTLY!" It reminds me of Kevin Pollak ripping into Demi Moore in "A Few Good Men".

I'm sorry but the moment they signed the papers granting permission, I feel they pretty much gave up any right to a lawsuit or any kind. But that's just me. Like that marriage is gonna last more than a couple years anyhow once she realizes how much FUN she's missing.

Exactly. Methinks this is just another case of parents not giving a crap what their kids do and trying to shift blame elsewhere.

And yeah, once old age sets in for him, she's gonna want out, because I'm sure he ain't no Hugh Hefner.

I still don't get how the school is responsible. Any decent judge would laugh and toss this case out.
