Making fire in the wilderness with a coke and Hershey's

Well if by some weird freak of nature I find myself stranded in some dark and lonely woods, at least I know I will always be able to start a fire to either keep me warm or burn the whole forest down to find my way out.

how to make fire from a can of coke and a chocolate bar

I'd be dead (or at least cold) because I'd have probably already eaten all the chocolate and drank all the soda. I don't do well in the wilderness. I hate camping and all that outdoorsy crap. My idea of "roughing it" is when my hotel room doesn't get ALL the movie channels. You go sleep in a polyester sack inside some cloth box staked to the ground. I'll be having a corned beef sandwich courtesy of room service in my suite's Jacuzzi tub.

Having said that, it WAS an interesting read.

I saw Survivalman do this on Discovery Channel. It really does work. Not that I could do it...I couldn't start a fire in the woods if my life depended on it, unless somebody gave me a bunsen burner (long story).
