Heath Ledger is dead.

A gossip site summed it up best..."WTF?"

Re: Heath Ledger is dead.

They still don't know how he died it seems...

I wonder if they'll be able to do the new Batman movie okay now that he's gone, I think it's in post-production but who knows.

Re: Heath Ledger is dead.

He was finished filming that one, but only half through another called "''Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus'' that looked interesting to me, now I wonder what will happen to that film, perhaps they can write the role a bit differently with another actor to finish up the scenes. Perhaps they can use a stunt double such as they did for "The Crow" with Brandon Lee. I hope they do get to finish it.

I really liked Heath Ledger, he had alot of talent (although I never did see Brokeback Mountain). I liked some of his earlier work such 10 things I hate about you and A Knights Tale.

Re: Heath Ledger is dead.

This is so sad. I feel bad cause his daughter Matilda won't get to know her dad. I suspect he will become more famous now through his death just like James Dean and Marilyn. They said it wasn't hard drugs. He wasn 't drinking. Makes me wonder, hope they find something soon

Re: Heath Ledger is dead.

Nicholson Warned Ledger About Joker Role

Jack Nicholson has hinted he warned tragic Heath Ledger against taking on the role of The Joker in the new Batman film. Ledger, 28 - who was declared dead at 3:30pm at his Manhattan apartment on Tuesday - publicly declared himself exhausted and sleep deprived in November following the grueling shoot for The Dark Knight. He also revealed in an interview with the New York Times he'd resorted to taking sleeping pills - an overdose of which is believed to be the cause of his death - in a desperate bid to catch up on rest. And Nicholson, who famously portrayed the menacing Joker in Tim Burton's 1989 movie Batman, implied to the waiting crowd outside plush London restaurant The Wolesley on Tuesday night he spoke to Ledger about his role in The Dark Knight - and warned him about the pitfalls of taking on such a demanding challenge. When asked by the London crowds for his reaction to Ledger's untimely demise, a defeated Nicholson simply replied, "I told him so." Batman Begins prequel The Dark Knight is due to be released in July.

Way to be sympathetic there Jack. What an asshat.

Guess....that he could quit Jake before Jake could quit him?

omgroflwtf...I'm kidding. I'm not as bad as the psychos from Kansas protesting his funeral just because he was in Brokeback.
