Paranormal Survey!! Need Help (For Class Project)

a couple of weeks ago, some friends of mine (including myself) investigated an old movie theater (built in the 20's) for paranormal activity. While we caught nothing on video, the audio we got was FANTASTIC! Freaky, but FANTASTIC! I'm almost done with the paper, but my professor suggested I do a survey/poll. So here are the questions. If anyone has experienced anything and could take the time to answer, i'd appreciate it!!

Have you experienced anything paranormal?

I guess so...sometimes I feel a presence in a room but I don't really see anything and I know it's not my wife or kid because they're in the other room...the dog doesn't count.

Somewhat...kind of hard to fathom that we just disappear into the ether once we die, because a lot of us have unfinished bidness...

When I was a kid...now, not so much.

It might be a little of both

I'm sure some ghosts are around but I don't know what their purpose is.

Yeah, but only if I get a proton pack.

Yes, I have.

Well, seeing my grandfather's reflection in the fireplace screen/window after he had been DEAD for six months would be something, now wouldn't it?

I've also had objects moved from where I had placed them, a door that I had locked being unlocked when I woke up, and just the general feeling of not being alone.

did you believe in ghosts/spirits BEFORE?

Pretty much all my life.

were you scared?

When I was younger, yes. Now I'm not, unless I'm home by myself and get that "feeling".

do you believe ghosts/spirits exists or do you think it's your mind playing games with you?

I firmly believe that something exists and lingers on after you die. Maybe just to finish something up, maybe just to check on your family, maybe just to cause havoc.

2) if yes, what did you experience? I heard my name called in this old house I lived in with my dad in SC. It was built in 1937. I've been told somebody died in that house.

3) did you believe in ghosts/spirits BEFORE? I believe they existed, yes.

4) were you scared? I thought it was somebody downstairs (that lived there) calling me, so not really. I was kind of out of it.

5) do you believe ghosts/spirits exists or do you think it's your mind playing games with you? I think both are true.

6) if you could take part in a ghost investigation, would you? Most likely not.

Where to begin...well the two most outrageous ones were...

A) In 1989 we were closing out a night at the dinner theatre and we had turned off all the P.A. system/CD players/Sound equipment and were just about to walk out the door when suddenly the ENTIRE system came on and the music started BLASTING! Now it wasn't just ONE switch that would have had to have been turned on....it was 3! And they were all on and the volume was about 10X what it had been when we turned it off...that scared the beejeezus out of me..

and..

2) In the last house I lived we had a Christmas ornament on our Christmas tree that we found in the middle of the living room floor about 6' from our tree when we got home one night...now the ornament had a permanent loop on it, not a hook...plus it was on a branch that pointed UPWARD and was on the bottom up against the trunk of the tree not on the end...AND it was a square ornament so there was no way that even if it did fall it couldn't roll over 6'...the loop wasn't broken and neither was the very fragile ornament....we had been told when we moved in that it was a haunted house anyway...

there are more stories but I don't have the time or space here lol!

Yes but hadn't experienced anything until the dinner theatre sound system happened

At the time of the dinner theatre one yes...the Christmas ornament one didn't freak me out and now I'm not surprised or scared either way...mind you I've never been alone when stuff has happened lol!

I believe the spirits exist and it's not my mind...there have always been others experiencing it with me...

Nothing out-of-the-ordinary that I can recall other then getting "eerie" feelings once in awhile.

if yes, what did you experience?

Just alot of deja-vu stuff and I kinda pick up on vibes of places where somebody died in that house/building (but not in a hospital)

Before what? I used to read about it alot (was one of my favorite subjects to read about) as a kid. And now, I guess I kinda like the television shows like "Dead Like Me", "Reaper", "Ghost Whisper" best of all.

Nah, not really. Although I used to often wake up in my bedroom when I grew up with that freaked-out feeling that someone was standing beside my bed while I was asleep. Mom told me that the guy that owned the house decades before my grandfather bought it, killed himself outside my bedroom window. (Thanks for that info mom!

I'm a natural skeptic, so I think it's about 90% psychsomatic, although there is always the possibility that something could be "out there".

ehh...I dunno. I can't help but think some jackass will wait for the opportunity of intense, quiet scrutiny, to jump out of the shadows and scare the bejesus outta me.
