OK, here's some interior shots of our new toy, to give an idea of what you can look forward to when we get ready to re-launch it in Belfast Harbor (if we get it there in the first place):
This is the view from the steps into the cabin to the front of the cabin. The space up fron acts as chairs, and when it's time to sleep that one pad on top of the others fits into place to make it all a large bed. Sleeps 2.
This is a section of seating in the center of the cabin across from the fridge and sink. It also converts into a bed for 1 person.
The third sleep area, this one reaches down under the steps and the upper deck of the boat. Sleeps 2.
A small view of our kitchen area. The boat has a freshwater tank for use in the sink, or for coffee, etc.
Old-school stereo system. I may replace it with something a hair more modern. CD's and MP3's, ya know? There are 2 speakers in the forward part of the cabin and 2 speakers on the main deck for sound all around.
Close-up view of one of the speakers in the forward compartment. Plus showing the interior walls.
The mini-fridge. Should be well-stocked on launch day.
On the last pic you can see the drifts of leaves around the steps leading into the cabin. That's nothing. The floor right there is soft. It all has to come out and be replaced. You can also see the wood on the walls looks damaged. Some will need to be refinished, no idea how much will need to be replaced. The interior is in the worst shape. The exterior can be cleaned and refinished, and any wood replaced easily if necessary. We'll have to gut portions of the cabin though, most likely. Once we have it in Maine and begin work, I'll post regular updates on our progress.

That's a pretty sweet setup you got there. Got a color scheme yet? Or just going to replace the floor and keep the vintage paintjob?

I just had this really crazy image of TV9 doing that Forrest Gump scene where he paints the boat, except instead of writing "Jenny" he writes "Mighty Penis" or something like that

I must have had a recessive hair color gene...kind of interesting how Jason's hair is lighter than both of ours.

lol Just like me and my parents, they are both darkish brown hair, brown eyes, and I turned out blond with blue eyes. I swear I was switched at birth in the hospital.
Cute pic Jess.
Here is my pic ala Simpsons. Then I made a more realistic one.

No, it apparently ripped between photos. We also fixed the door leading into the cabin and then threw 2 bug bombs into it and closed it up to take care of all the spiders and the multitude of hornets that have nested in there through the broken doorway. The bastards are screaming now, tomorrow we'll open it up and clean out the cabin so we can get a clear idea of what we need to do in there.
