This was a statue that was built a couple miles from where we used to live. It was affectionately known as "Touchdown Jesus". It was struck by lightning June 2010. Oh the irony!
Damn, what the hell was it made of? And are they gonna put it back? Football season won't be the same without Touchdown Jesus
I dunno the answer to either question. I'm thinking fiberglass maybe?
We moved away before the fire and haven't been back since, but apparently they are building a different statue with it's arms outstretched towards the highway welcoming people in... More like Zombie Jesus?
