Happy Boxing Day! Come on, folks, let's hear about the loot. I got, like, socks. But I also got DVDs of "Scrooged" and a better edition of "Pretty In Pink" than I have. My wife also tracked down the last Arcadia 12" single I needed for my collection (oh, she scored SO many cool points for that one). But the real prize was from my former neighbour who gave me a huge freakin' thick-cardboard BEATLES advertisement. I don't know where the hell she found that but it blew my mind.

The adults in my family did a White Elephant exchange yesterday and we ended up with a new crock pot with a digital timer and one of the gifts we brought; a Hickory Farms sausage/cheese/crackers gift box.

A week late, but I received:

Lotions and sprays from Victoria's Secret (My sister totally rules on this because I'm too cheap to buy it)
Lotion from my adopted grandmother

$60 worth of Starbuck's gift cards, a $10 Barnes & Noble gift card, and a $15 iTunes card from Mama-san. I think she was regifting, but I sure as shit ain't complaining.

This was more of a early birthday present, but since I'm on my mom's cell phone plan, I suckered her into buying me a Pantech Matrix dual slider cellphone.

Then, you know, the whole trip home and everything. I think the best bit about Christmas though was having my dog (the chocolate Labrador) get better. He got really ill with a UTI while we were there, and for awhile, we thought he wasn't going to make it. A week's stay at the vet hospital, massive doses of antibiotics, and about four thousand dollars later, he's recovering and totally back to his little bastard self.
