From the staff here at the Retro Radio Network, we wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and best wishes for a Happy New Year!
Hey, don't speak for me! Maybe I want someone to have a CRAPPY New Year! Didja ever think about that?
Even though Thom has already played my touching holiday message to all on his last show, happy holidays...whichever one you celebrate. It's all good. I'll post my swag haul tomorrow.
It's Christmas! Yaaaaaaaaaay! You know what that means - SWAG!!!
This year, we kept it simple. I received a new coffee travel mug, a nifty tray so I can be a complete bum and use my laptop in bed, and the last season of the new "Doctor Who" that I needed to complete my collection. I am one content cat, fellow babies.
This year, we sort of kept it about Jason, although I'm sure we'll all enjoy Star Trek, Up, and the New Super Mario Bros. game. Rice received the uncut (*snort*) international version of The Professional, and I've been using my gift since the day after Thanksgiving (a Crock-Pot).
All in all, not too shabby. I wish I would have recorded Jason's reaction to the note that "Santa" left him thanking him for the milk and cookies. His expression was priceless.
Merry Christmas, buttmunches!

I got a new car stereo that I was asking for 2 years ago. Some candy. "The Force Unleashed" for PC (they finally released it). Chocolate cherries. 6-pack of Coke. Some cash. And, at long last, an electric blanket. FINALLY, I can keep warm in my room at night.
And I made Crystal cry when she opened her present from me and saw the camera. I was happy.

We really didn't do Christmas gifts because of the wedding. We made some bank from that. On the honeymoon I found great deals on new clothes for work and got about $800 worth of business wear for about $200. In turn we bought Sara a new wardrobe of clothes as well. Later this year we're going to look into a new dining room table, a new TV and I'll hopefully be getting a new dual CD deck.
Oh yeah, Sara went shopping on Black Friday last month and got a killer deal on a new PC Monitor for me at Staples of all places. 21.5" widescreen from eMachines for something crazy like $88.
Hi folks, the shabby sailor dropped by retro radio network once more.
Happy days I wish all of you gals and guys.
I made the promise to be a bit more nasty
and spend a week in the lap of luxury .
But I was called by the wrath of God
and I found out I'm too old for that lark
so I stayed at home in chastity
singing christmas songs along with my family
I'm glad you have a lot of staff pals
