Welcome Lurpak!
The Retro Radio Network Forums are a very diverse place. There is a lot to do here - the trick is just knowing where to look.
First, introduce yourself. We're a friendly bunch and we welcome newcomers to the Community.
If you have a problem figuring out how to use a forum feature, check out the FAQ. Your question may already be answered.
We are a community based on the radio stations in our network, and the eras we grew up in. As such, we are all about conversation about the past and present, jokes, quizzes, links and games. We talk about pop culture from the 60's through present day, hobbies, raising kids, getting ahead at work, and just about anything else friends talk to each other about.
So, if you are trapped in a cubicle at work or if you are a stay at home parent looking for some company and some fun, and a little reminiscing, this is the place for you.
thanks for the intro.
I got here by trailing Aussie-jokes/expressions...
no clue what you guys (gals inclusive, pardon) get up to here...
in the 60's , I was stalking the teenage-girls, who were way, no-way, in reach. But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't have to own all the paintings in the museum to be able to enjoy them. (Although, I do like stealing a few of them, off and on)...
I hope you enjoy our little corner of the internet. We're a reasonably friendly lot. I'd beware of that guy over there though, I'm not sure if he has rabies or not.
I have already apologized privately to NewRo about not mentioning his station, I do want to make a public apology, as I felt I made a grievous error.
Even though I know they are seperate stations with different formats, each equally awesome in my book, in my faulty memorybanks, I have them both lumped together as one station (because they represent to me...internet radio at it's finest.) I fear that I may need a total software reinstall of my memory banks as the darn thing sorts things in the most peculier way.
