I'm glad someone did because I thought it was truly awful. Seriously. This, to me, made "Temple Of Doom" look like a masterpiece. I never got caught up in it. I never got swept away during it. Not once. It all felt forced. The plot was utterly insipid and just got more and more so as it went along.
I won't even discuss the conflict resolution or ending here as I'm sure many have not seen it except to say that the former was almost the exact same as another well-known movie and the latter made me cringe at the thought of where anything may go next.
The actors were fine but they were given lousy dialogue and a crummy plot. I firmly believe Lucas and Spielberg have just reached the point where they don't give a damn about quality anymore because they've reached those heights where they can do anything they want.
Those of you that end up getting the same level of enjoyment out of this movie that I got from the first three, I envy you. I envy you because I walked out of the cinema feeling like something I've held dear for so much of my life was dumbed down and turned the wrong way around and you did not.
