Re: What Was Your FIRST "R" Rated Film You Saw?

I didn't even have cable growing up so I have no idea what the answer would be for that half of the question. However, I know for a fact the first R-rated film I saw at the cinema was "Blue Thunder" with Roy Scheider and Malcolm McDowell. I was 14 and I really REALLY wanted to see that bad-ass helicopter so I begged my grandmother to take me to see the movie. And she did. And I'm pretty sure I found sitting there during the nude yoga scene just as uncomfortable as she.

Don't remember a lot, but I do recall that the first R-rated movies my parents rented that I actually watched were Robocop and The Terminator.

You've really never heard of "Humanoids From The Deep"? Wow. I've never seen it but I remember it being a big cable attraction after bombing at the box office all those years ago. I remember even though I didn't have cable because I had to live vicariously through the people that did and they talked about this movie all the time.

You know what's even sadder? I use Netflix and never even thought of looking there.

Netflix. I'm doing it wrong.
