Did everyone just ignore this movie because of how the first one blew?
I knew the first one blew out the hoo-ha. I didn't even see it. I don't like Jennifer Connelly. Don't ask why.
But seeing Edward Norton starring in this movie convinced me it was gonna be a good movie. And I was right. It's not all super action and tech filled like Iron Man, but IMO, I thought it was pretty damn good. It was a little slow in the beginning, but it kinda moved a little faster with the action. At some points, the action seemed a little slow, but it's okay. Although, for some reason, I kinda wish they hadn't chosen Tim Roth to be in the movie. It seemed like he was a little out of place. I just wonder how much better it would be if they chose someone else for the role. And of course, the ending has an interesting twist if you hadn't read about it yet. I'm just glad I didn't have to stay after the credits to see it. I guess almost all Marvel movies end like this? I don't think they did it for Spiderman or X-Men, though.....odd.
I think you everyone should see it. The box office says it did a little bit better than the first, but why listen to that? Go see it if you're an Edward Norton fan....because I did.
To say I ignored it because the first one blew would imply I even took the time to see the first one. Which I didn't. I ignored them both for the same two reasons:
1. The CGI Hulk looks like SHIT. If I wanna watch green CGI smash crap, I'll just watch "Jurassic Park" again.
2. I'm just not a Hulk fan, incredible or not. The character just never appealed to me. And believe me, I used to read almost any Marvel title I could get my hands on. Hell, I liked DAZZLER and ALPHA FLIGHT and you probably won't see THOSE movies ever made.
And I'm gonna ask why you don't like Jennifer Connelly because enquiring minds wanna know.
I will agree that CGI Hulk looks like crap no matter what. But watching Hulk smash is good. Hulk movie only good when Hulk smash.

Dark Waters was a terrible movie and I blame her acting for the movie sucking so hard.
I remember the previews for that movie. I wouldn't have given it my all either. I don't think I could motivate myself to be terrified by dirty water. Well, unless the dam broke and my house was in the path or something.
Besides that, she was in "Labyrinth" so she'll always have Cool Points™ in my book.
Still, it's better than some bodybuilder running around painted green...
Oh, I don't know about that. Dye this American Gladiator's hair and I'd have bought it.

I'll agree it was about Bowie. I'm not much into tight pants on men, though. I wear tight pants but that's only because I fattened up and never bought new ones.
Lou Ferrigno was in the new movie, he had a cool cameo.
