Re: Weekend Movie Review. What Did Ya See? How Was It?
It sucked so hard that I had to put the original animated Transformers movie on the queue to knock the travesty out of my brain. Dare to be stupid!
Gonna watch Idiocracy soon.

I suppose everyone should go see "The Room" at least once. But boy was it baaaaaaaad...

Re: Weekend Movie Review. What Did Ya See? How Was It?
Yes, if you want to laugh your ass off at bad acting, bad editing, bad directing, bad dialogue, and random characters that make no sense, please see "The Room". It is so terribly laughable. Or is it laughingly terrible? Either way, it's a masterpiece of fuckery, and I know it was supposed to be serious and artsy and all, but I could NOT stop laughing. I bet it's a blast to see in theaters with other people because it has apparently become a cult favorite, like "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".
Yes, see it if you must, but be drunk or have lots of friends over to watch it.

If John Cusack were in Chicago right now, I'd hunt his ass down and bitch slap him for starring in this movie. Then I'd bitch slap him again for making that crapfest "America's Sweethearts" in 2001. Then I'd probably kidnap him and hold him hostage at my house and do things to him.
Wait, what were we talking about?

Awwww. I thought Cusack was actually the HIGHLIGHT of "America's Sweethearts".

What was wrong with starring in this film? It was the ultimate disaster movie. It had elements of EVERY disaster movie that has come before, I think. Seriously, it was freaking AWESOME. I mean, if you're looking for heavy duty plot, go elsewhere. If you're looking for Oscar-caliber performances, go elsewhere. If you're looking to be flat-out entertained for 2 and a half hours, you really just can't do better. Cusack did NOT turn in a bad performance. No one really did. Some of the roles and scenes were cliched, yes. But it didn't make this in the least bit any less entertaining. Hell, I'm seeing it again tomorrow.

Why does Roland Emmerich hate the Earth?
