Yes. Definitely re-rent it. I usually don't promote movies with Will Ferrell in them (possibly because he plays the same goofy character over and over), but I really enjoyed this one.
We rent from the library, so the DVD's are usually fucked up. I swear, people must play Frisbee with these things. We ALWAYS have to clean them or else they lock up on us. It's insane.

Watched Casino Royale last night. It was long. Bond got all kinds of beat up.

This was the Daniel Craig one. The story was good as a set-up for rebooting the Bond franchise. This Bond is a lot more action-packed than previous Bond movies and they ended it in an appropriate way in my view.

Lessee...Memorial Day Chooch and I went to See Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End.
It was pretty good I thought.....not many near 3 hour movies can make me stay put through most of it. This one did!

Re: Weekend Movie Review. What Did Ya See? How Was It?
We just got back from seeing "300" at the dollar theater (well ok, so it's the "3-dollar" theater except on Tuesday when it actually *is* a dollar theater.) But irregardless, Yes, it's definately a guy flick with lots of blood and beheadings but having said that, it's not as gory as it could have been. The plot was straightforward, easy to follow. There is a nakey man with a mighty fine...er...hindquarters in this...but then there is the pre-requisite female nipple shot in there too (actually several shots of two different women as I recall) but who's counting? ANYWAYS, I only fell asleep once and only for a couple seconds. So I give it a thumb's up review. The main bad guy, Xerxes (or however you want to spell it) was...um...not very intimidating...and I much liked the South Park rendition of the character MUCH better, but otherwise, it was pretty good movie in general. I LOVED the music throughout the whole of the movie.
Re: Weekend Movie Review. What Did Ya See? How Was It?
We had a movie fest this week. Friday we saw "Pirates 3" - it was a little long, and confusing, but I liked it. Sunday we saw "Knocked Up." Funny and good story but a little crass for even my taste - and I'm pretty laid back. Yesterday we saw "Shrek 3." I liked it.

We saw Fracture starring Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gossling today. It was pretty good. Although the best part of it was throughout the movie they had these marble/glass bead contraptions which totally enthralled me.
