Would be nice if this were on a public access channel, so we can put a certain little booger to sleep

Yeah, but this is a special PBS Channel called PBS Kids that is only available through Comcast or satelite, from what I understand from the article.

Jason doesn't need that. Sitting in Rice Cube's lap playing baseball on the Xbox seems to work quite well. He also hates watching television.
And besides, I can't think of one television program that makes your kids go to sleep. It usually has the opposite effect and then they're bouncing off the walls for the rest of the night.

When a kid says, `Can I just watch one more show?' The parent can say, `Of course you can.,'" said Andrew Beecham, senior vice president of programming for KIDS Sprout. "It's only five more minutes."
Im sorry, but this bothers me. I have a STACK of books in my kids room for bedtime, and dont think that I need to let them continue to watch TV to go to sleep. We have a routine that involves jammies, tooth brushing, and bedtime stories. Not more TV. That five minutes of TV could be a Dr. Suess book you read to your kid.
But thats just me. If it works for others, then fine. I just dont like it.
