Actually, I'd never heard it before that night also. Somebody on some message board or chat I was on was raving about it (this was prior to me discovering youtube). They said it was their favorite Kiss solo song. Yeah so...

Having said that, it was alright, not his best obviously, but since I like disco, it wasn't so bad. (yes, proof again I have bad taste in music.)
