Drummer/Singers

NOTE: Posting here in the Current Music section for ease of use but not limited solely to current musical groups.

We were trying to come up with bands whose drummer is also the lead singer. For instance, Genesis, and to some degree the Eagles. We also came up with Night Ranger since that guy sang a song or two.

Can you think of any others?

Re: Drummer/Singers

Jimmy Marinos, the drummer for the Romantics, does lead vocals on "What I Like About You".

And while it may be stretching things a bit because he's a multi-instrumentalist these days, what about Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters?

Re: Drummer/Singers

Andrew W.K. supposedly did all the instruments on his first album (not sure about the second) which includes the drums.

Luis Cardenas! He had that RIDICULOUS drum set. I think he still holds the world record for biggest drum set.
