The Dukes of the Stratosphear

Look wot came in the post today: Those fancy new reissues of Psonic Psunspot and 25 O'Clock by The Dukes of the Stratosphear!

In addition to the lovely remastering jobs -- clear, bright and no hint of being a casuality of the Loudness War -- each release comes packaged as a mini hardback book, complete with photos and in-depth essays by the band as to the creation of the albums, from the origins and inspirations behind each song to discussions of the equipment and production techniques used during the recording sessions.

These just might be the best reissues I've seen. I can only hope that there's some plan on doing all of XTC's albums next.

I was just lazy and bagged "Chips From The Chocolate Fireball" a few years back. And to pick a nit...isn't it actually just "The Dukes Of Stratosphear"? Like they were in Hazzard but they moved?

Yes. Damn them for their lack of a definite article.
