Duncan Sheik?? I loved the albums he released in the 90's... good stuff I tell yah! Well he's releasing a new album January 24th. My friend at umvd got to hear some songs and he says it's amazing. I'm going to buy the album next week!! For more info you can check out duncansheik.com

Actually, I have all four of Duncan Sheik's releases and have yet to be disappointed. I'm looking forward to "White Limousine" quite a bit.

I haven't had the pleasure. It's rare I go to a live show these days. It's mostly due to me remembering seeing shows for $20 back in the day and getting cranky that some artists (not necessarily Duncan Sheik) asking over $100 for tickets and not even offering me dinner and a kiss first.

I checked out his current tour schedule, though, and I see he'll be in my neck of the woods on February 16 and in a relatively intimate venue. Maybe I'll check that out. It'd be nice to hear how he takes on "Bite Your Tongue" or "She Runs Away" live.

Remind me after your show tonight and I'll send you some samples from each album. Thanks to this post, I went back and listened to "Daylight" for the first time in quite a while. I'd forgotten how much I really enjoyed it.

Ain't no thang. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why I don't have any of his material on CGR. I need to remedy that next time I add tracks to the station rotation. If the All Music Guide says he's "adult alternative" (and they do), then he's eligible for airplay as far as I'm concerned.
