Re: Any new music recommendations?

The Spill Canvas....listen to them. I can't figure out what band they remind me of, but they're a sad, sick, guilty pleasure.

Meg and Dia....a sister band NOT like Aly & AJ (who probably have penises). I'm addicted to their song "Roses".

New Found Glory's From The Screen To Your Stereo 2 with classic covers such as "Stay" by Lisa Loeb, "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None The Richer, and "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. Some of the songs kind of have a guest singer, but I still can't figure out who they are for some of the tracks. The album is super short but fun listening to for some reason.

Re: Any new music recommendations?

Moby's new album last night comes out April 1st in the U.S. "The Stars" is already getting decent airplay on Energy-FM here in Phoenix and is reminiscent of his early 90's work. Gots it playing on my MehSpace page currently. An album sampler is available to preview on his website.

I'm also digging Hardrox's "Feel The Hard Rock". Kinda Electro-Punk-ish. And Kamera's "Lies" has a new-wave feel to it.

THE song of 2008 ... Basshunter (featuring Mental Theo's Bassheadz) and the massive club hit Now You're Gone. #1 across europe, and even reached #88 in Canada.

And if you're interested, the original 2006 version 'Boten Anna' by Basshunter is also good. It's a song about a computer chatroom BOT named Anna. "I know a BOT. Her name is Anna, Anna is her name. And she can ban you, kick you so hard" LOL

And if you're also interested, the first version of Now You're Gone by Mental Theo's Bassheadz featuring Sebastian Westwood

I finally bought this CD yesterday. Overall it's pretty catchy. "Everyday It's 1989" is my favourite track on the album at this point and will likely be dropped in a future Fusion show.

Re: Any new music recommendations?

I just got Duffy - Rockferry and Tokio Hotel - Scream. GREAT ALBUMS.

There's a few tracks on Rockferry that I like, only a few that aren't among my faves. I'm guessing if you listen to the album, you'd be comparing it to Amy Winehouse. I haven't heard her album, nor do I want to. But try giving Duffy a listen.

Tokio Hotel is just adorable. If you go to their website, the lead singer put so much effort into his hair....sadly, his hair is better then mine.. But their album sounds a little bit like a J-Pop band. SO CUTE! Except for the fact that they're German. Don't have a thing against Germans...I just think it's funny that a group of Germans can sound like a group of Japanese guys...XD

The Honorary Title - Scream And Light Up The Sky....is awesome. You must listen. If you watch One Tree Hill...you may like them more. Who knows.

The self-titled debut album from Sam Sparro.

The lead single is the fantastic 'Black and Gold' (see video below) and if you like Ambient/Electronic, then GET THIS ALBUM! You won't be disappointed!

Re: Any new music recommendations?

If you haven't heard Metro Station's "Shake It" hit on your local radio stations, I think you should give their album a try. It's very short, but there's a decent amount of catchy songs. IMO, I love the album, except for like, 1 or 2 songs.

And I'm sure EVERYONE must have heard Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" on your radio station, too. I've been addicted to both artists, but I'm favoring Metro Station a little more.

The Ting Tings - We Started Nothing
I know you hate Steve Jobs for playing their songs non stop, but it's different when you're listening to it off their album....like...better sounding. Link to my fave music video/song below.

The Fray - The Fray
I liked them when they first came out and I'm in love with their new song.
LOVE this song

This song sounds really cool to me, so I picked up Ben Folds' album
I really don't like Tim and Eric. They fail. And it's weird that Ben Folds featured them in the video. Even if it wasn't them in the video, they reminded me of Tim and Eric and my hatred for them ans they're show.

I also got the Twlight album. I like a few selects songs and this is one of them.
I'm a Twilight geek, so what?

I wish I had time to recommend more, but I'm sure you're tired of me copying and pasting youtube links.
