Any new music recommendations?

Post them here!

I suck at being on top of the new music scene anymore. Here's a sample of the latest sounds I'm checking out:

New Order - "Krafty"
Duran Duran - "What Happens Tomorrow" (Rauhofer Club Mix)
Depeche Mode - "Precious"
Paris Avenue - "I Want You"
Lucas Prata - "And She Said..."
Freemasons - "Love On My Mind"

And 2 cds of Nik Kershaws. Ive had them for a while...but I stuck them back in the player last week, and just never took them out. They are pretty good.

Re: Any new music recommendations?

Is "Monkey Business" the name of the BEP album? I like the first single and even though "My Humps" is catchy it's sub-par IMO.

Let me take this opportunity to once again push the new Franz Ferdinand album on you. "You Could Have It So Much Better" is 42 minutes of goodness. I'm sick of everyone feeling like they have to fill a disc these days. I'd rather have a tight 42-minute album like this one than 77 minutes of filler.

The new Bon Jovi album totally rocks! Their best since "Keep The Faith"

I finally heard The Killer's latest and it's great as well.

Sheryl Crow's "Wildflower" is good. It reminds me of "The Globe Sessions"

in the next few week's, I play on purchasing Fiona Apple's new one!

Hasnt most of it been available on the net for a while? You are referring to Extraordinary Machine, right?

Cause if so, I've got it..whether or not what Ive got will differ from what comes out in a few weeks remains to be seen though.

Re: Any new music recommendations?

Fiona's out. And it is different overall from the leaked Jon Brion recordings. She revamped most of the tunes with a different producer and added a track as well.

Can't wait to hear the revamped tunes! I liked what I requested at City Of Glass Radio! I think it will be hard to beat "When The Pawn...", imo!

I've decided not to add any of the newly-produced tunes at CGR. Honestly, Fiona may prefer the new producer but I like the Jon Brion Sessions better.

I DID make an exception, though, and I added "Parting Gift" from the new sessions as that song wasn't included on the Jon Brion collection making the rounds.
