As they play on RR, I realise that I never liked The Fabulous Thunderbirds. They were never fabulous IMO.

I'm going to have to agree with Midas. I never cared for "The Fabulous Thunderbirds". I think "Tuff Enough" is in the worst 80's songs!

Who Wears These Shoes " takes some honors in that category, Thomas. "
Shiny Shiny " claims top prize, though. I was never a big fan of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, either. I can stand them enough, though.

You noticed they looked like they needed a wash? That's because they did. The bands orders were that nobody should wash through the whole shoot - Sheb Shelton the drummer did and got fired as a result, lol.
I am trying to work out if maybe Kevin Rowland was trying to recreate old Ireland or the Old 'Black Country' (Rowland was born in Wolverhampton but had Irish ancestory). Whatever the purpose was, I do know the video was shot in London.
Anyway, worst song for me in the 80s was 'I need you' by BVSMP - bunch of whiners.

I liked the unmasked KISS. Good era of their music. I didn't personally see the point in going back to the make-up once it had been removed, but hey, if it's what they want then more power to them.
