Seeing as Pittsburgh is my newly adopted town, I suppose I should post what's good to eat here.
We've eaten at cheap places since we be po' from moving. Thankfully da 'burg is not really all that expensive anyway.
Hungry for chinese? Go to the Brentwood neighborhood and try Lotus Garden (the are pretty good) or try Imperial Palace. They are both really good, although Imperial Palace is more affordable (and they have a wee little baby that is always there that is just so cute. He toddles around in his walker and has the cutest chubby cheeks.) Both are good places to eat.
Want pizza by the slice? Try Danny's on 51, $1.75 per humungous slice of cheese pizza, or 25 cents for each extra item. Their salads are really yummy and very filling (again a bargain at $3.25), there really isn't any place to sit down there though, so you have to eat in your car. Hubby says they have great sandwiches (although I can't seem to get past ordering the same thing all the time to try the sandwiches.)
If you ever make it up to Belfast, Maine and want a taste of Mexican, then you must hit up Dos Amigos. One of my favorite restaurants ever. Of course, you have to have a lobster dinner with clams, and that means you have to stop at The Weathervane.
For pizza, go to Belfast Variety. Sure it's a convenience store, but they do make some of the best damned pizza out there. I'll take them over national chain anyday.

Bah, I love seafood. Except calamari. I'm not into chewing rubber bands. And I do prefer clams over oysters.
See, I'm the exact opposite. New England would be wasted on me for seafood. Aside from shrimp and Long John Silver's, I don't really care for it much.
But I'd eat the pizza from the convenience store. I know how good that pizza can be from working in downtown Ann Arbor years ago and hitting up the Diag Party Store for slices on break.
First and foremost, NewRo's recommendation in Melbourne is Whataburger. You'll think The Whopper is from another planet when you try their burgers.
Sandwiches for if you're in Central Florida, Belly Busters
Mexican is Los Dos Compadres for authentic mexican tacos with handmade tortillas, for the best shrimp soup and killer tamales covered in beef, El Manantia and for everything else mexican that is awesome, Mi Mexico
Sushi and Japanese cuisine is at Wasabi and Kobe's, of course
Ice Cream...go find a Rodeo Whip. For the amount of ice cream they give you, it's kind of worth their ridiculous price.
Everything under sandwiches is located in Central FL
I'd have to update when I try more restaurants....sorry I couldn't provide any links!
Toldja so. The burgers are bigger than you are. Yum yum yum. WHAT. A. BURGER. I hope they still deep-fry their apple pies, too.
They're burgers are always good...I try to go there everytime I go to Palm Bay. My brother tried their apple pie and it ended up being dry and not covered in sugar. He also got a cinnamon roll, and apparently it was better. Anyways, I'm in love with their burgers and they understand what I want when I say no sauce...it'll take a long time before I accept another burger that equals greatness in my life...unless I pick up a Kobe beef burger tomorrow.
I don't think we have one around here. Is that really a food joint? Because that's such a naughty name.
YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF IN N OUT?!?!?!?!??! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH H!!!!!!!!!
In N Out Burger is a California thing. The Californians have generously allowed a few select places in Nevada and Arizona (and one in the southwest corner of Utah) to have them as well. As for the naughty aspect of the name.....the business is run by a Christian family, so yeah. They have issues. I have already said that the only thing that would turn me back into a carnivore is going to this place for a cheeseburger.
