Mine was your stereotypical white frat-boy prick who mocked me and asked me if I wanted to fight to show "what kind of pussy" I was. So, of course, they fired my WIFE'S TRAINER (she was moonlighting elsewhere because Bally's pays for SHIT) and ignored the complaint about mine. As a postscript, the wickprick they gave me called our house TWO MONTHS after we quit asking where I was and telling me how I was going to be a fat fuck all my life if I didn't drag my flabby ass back in there. I won't go into details of the response he received. I'll just say he didn't call back again. Ever.
Fuck Bally's right in the ass. I hope that guy's dead along with the stupid bitch-hag that ran the kid's area. I really do. And that's not a wish I make lightly these days. But people that hopeless should be put to sleep.
On topic, I've lost five pounds in twelve days. Wii Fit says I'm doing well. Am I? I can't say I'm very knowledgeable about how long weight loss should take. If I was, well, I probably wouldn't need a Wii Fit in the first place.

One of my neighbors has flyers up in our gym offering personal trainer help. I may take him up on it because he's a nice guy and he knows what he's doing. He also doesn't treat me like the scum of the earth because I'm fat, so there you go.
You're pretty on target. Average weight loss is 2-4 pounds a week for men. If you have any questions about weight loss and whatever, let me know. God knows I've done every diet and researched everything to hell in my quest to lose weight.
I've lost seven pounds since I've been back home. I maintain that it's water weight.

Awesome. I probably missed it, but how often do you use it per day/times per week?
Want.

I do a body test daily. It's a five-minute routine that consists of a measurement of weight, body mass index, and balance. As for the actual workout part of the program (yoga, aerobics, etc.) I do that about 3-4 times per week for 20-30 minutes.
I've also made my own decision to try to control my diet a little bit more. I've been drinking more water and less Tab (and my body hates me for the caffeine withdrawal), trying to watch how MUCH I eat a little more than WHAT I eat, and eating less at night. I may as well meet Wii Fit halfway, eh?

Re: Wii Fit. We Fat.
So what are the best little games for burning calories and stuff? How are you doing so far? What are your most favorite activities that you think are fun and effective?
I'm borrowing the Wii Fit from my brother and I need a fitness program I can stick to because I suck at sticking to plans. I did a body test last night and I think I lost 10 lbs. from the last time I saw my doctor...which was a few months ago.....yet I don't SEE a difference, although for some reason, my Wii Fit age is the same age I am right now....so I'm kind of unsure of what it's measuring.

Re: Wii Fit. We Fat.
I'm closer to Wii...Fit. Got the Wii yesterday, toeringgurl is digging it and we're about even in Bowling. Fit was sold out so I'm on the lookout for it.
I also drank about a gallon of water already today and am feeling better...so hopefully I can lose some of the weight I gained back this year...I'm back up to my pre-Weight Watchers weight.

Re: Wii Fit. We Fat.
I must admit to laziness. I can't even remember the last time I got on that damned thing. I'm a bad man. If I get off my lazy spreading ass and start again, I'll let you know.
And to answer Roth, I mostly use yoga and aerobics. I'll worry about strength training and balance if and when I can get myself down to something below orca-size.
Edited to add: Nice. This was my 1000th post and it's about how fat and lazy I am.

Re: Wii Fit. We Fat.
Lawls on the 1000th post thing. Strength training isn't that bad if you think you can do some of the stuff like the easy torso twists and stuff. Yoga is a pain.....but I'm gonna stick to it. In a way, it feels good to do a nice stretch.
I'm also a hula-hoop master. Basic run is fun, but 2P run is better....wears the crap out of you, for reals. The whole balance thing they're trying to incorporate into all of the workouts is a huge pain in the tush. Like, it's hard to concentrate on the workout when you're not receiving any points because you're unbalance...ftw, Wii Fit, ftw.

Reason: because it doesn't feel "goos"

Wallyworld in Casa Grande had about 5 available this morning. I bought it as we got the oil changed on the car, and proceeded to carry it around the store for about an hour while we waited.
I apparently have terrible balance. The game asked me if I had trouble walking. Yoga's going to be a challenge. I like the aerobics and balance exercises. I'm going to try a few strength-training activities tomorrow and see what I like there.
I tried the Boxing on Wii Sports the other night for the first time and it's pretty good for exercising your arms. I'm terrible at Tennis and Golf. Decent at Baseball and Bowling.
On Fit I set a goal for 2 lbs lost in 2 weeks. We'll see what happens. If I'm doing better than that I'll adjust my weight loss goal going forward.

Re: Wii Fit. We Fat.
Yeah...I really don't know what's going on, but I was working out for four days straight and the thing is telling me I'm gaining 1-3 lbs! FTW! Not sure what's up with that, but it's definitely telling me I'm a failure. I thought the board would be accurate on weight, but I'm not so sure now....
