Tattoos

Who has them?

I'm still considering getting one at some point in my life...nothing major. Just a 45 RPM Adapter all black on my upper back where my neck and shoulders meet. Someday...

My girl has five.

Re: Tattoos

I have one, a musical note on my upper right arm. Blue, with light glitening off of the end. I want another one for my left arm, but just can't afford it right now. I also need my current one re-done. It's faded real bad.

Re: Tattoos

Lets see...7 piercings, 2 tattoos, 2 more peircings in the works, and 3 more tatts on the drawing board.

I have one on my ankle that I got when I split from my first husband...he always forbade me to get one while we were married...so I got one the first weekend I was out of there..a blue unicorn

My second one was to commemorate my first ever trip out of Texas by myself. I got it in May of 2004. The inside cover art from the Retro Active album.

Don't have one, not really interested in getting one. I've never cared for needles much.

Re: Tattoos

I have been considering it for quite a while. But I am still working on the design. I have seen and admired so much work, it makes the decision that much harder. My husband has 3 and an appointment to get some work done (a cover up and a touchup.) But I know he will end up with another one. So I will probobly go along and look through the books and see what kind of work this guy can do.

Much the same here - plus I'm in that 'older' age bracket

Bah. It's not about age. It's about not letting some big sweaty guy jab a needle into me a jillion times and paying for the privilege. They'd hate me if I ever DID get one anyway because this is what you'd hear for hours.

You get the idea.

And don't get me wrong. Tattoos don't bug me in the least. I just don't think I'm the sort of person to get one.

Re: Tattoos

I want one, just don't have the money to get it done. I also need to lose weight so it will look okay.

I know that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever about the weight loss part. :-P

Nah....its nothing like that. Maybe for the first minute...but then you numb up, and can't really feel it too much. Really, take your fingernails, and scratch your skin for about a minute..thats about what it feels like, except it lasts for about an hour...more if its bigger. If you get a good artist, it wont be so bad.

Re: Tattoos

Tattoos...eh. They're too permanent for me. I'm more of a piercing kind of girl. You know. Poke a hole, stick in a piece of jewelry, if you're sick and bored of it, take out the jewelry and everything goes away.

I used to want to get my tongue pierced...but that is just out of my head now. Along with a bunch of other things. I want my lip pierced. It's either wait until I'm legal...or runaway to Canada where I'm already legal for piercings and tattoos.

Tattoo prices vary too much. And that liquid goo stuff that's required for healing makes me giggle too much...

I'll do it for you for $20. I've got some nice skinny bits for my power drill.
