Random Album Covers - Religious persuasion
I had so much fun with the DJ's Zip Zap Rap cover, that I thought I would go in search of more, so here we are.
Which of the following covers strike you as being the most, ummm, 'disturbing'...? Don't say you weren't warned
Pick 3, or if you are really inclined, as many as you want

4. Mike Adkins - "Thank You For The Dove"
I just love the clever play on words here Mike has been stuck with the problem that all parody aspirants have, what in hell to you rhyme "Love" with ?
There is only Dove and Glove and Shove. At a pinch, Enough, or Tough. Parodies would be so much easier if "Love" didn't appear in so many songs

Re: Random Album Covers - Religious persuasion
6. Gertrude Behanna - "God Isn't Dead"
Obviously, Freddie Gage was no friend of God's then
And WHY, pray tell, is there an outline of a needle in the bottom right corner of the album? And bottles all behind her? Methinks Gertude (if that is her real name) is a drugged up alcoholic. And probably a communist into the bargain

10. Father Robert White - "The Reverend In Rhythm"
Last one. A tune like "Tiny Bubbles" could be a concern

Re: Random Album Covers - Religious persuasion
For me, the choices were clear :
The Minister's Quartet - "Let Me Touch Him"
Title and cover could lead to a measure of ambiguity
Freddie Gage - "All My Friends Are Dead"
Simply bizarre for an album of any persuasion, sort of reminds me of Jess' sig line (but in the future)
The Louvin Brothers - "Satan Is Real"
But they look like the are celebrating the fact

#5 gets my vote
And the Satan Is Real cover comes a very close second.

Re: Random Album Covers - Religious persuasion
Dan Betzer & Louie - "Tell the Bible Classics, Vol III"
Hmmm....the fake beard for starters ....and that dummy just ADDS to the credibility
Mike Adkins - "Thank You For The Dove"
The most distubing thing to me here is.....Mike bears an uncanny resemblance to one of our television game show hosts
Father Robert White - "The Reverend In Rhythm"
What Fuss said

Dan Betzer & Louie - "Tell the Bible Classics, Vol III"
Now I know where Chucky came from...
Gertrude Behanna - "God Isn't Dead"
Nope, he's just a vivid hallucination from all those liquor bottles that she emptied...
