Volume 2 - Ten Internationally successful Canadian Hits of the 70s

I just love confusing ya

- Steppenwolf actually do not qualify as a Canadian artist, even though all of the key members are from Canada. They formed in Canada as Jack London and The Sparrows, but when they moved to America, they broke-up, then re-formed as Steppenwolf

- Tommy Chong is Canadian. He wrote 'Earache My Eye'

- Heart fully qualified for Canadian Content because they were living in Canada when they signed a record deal

- Long John Baldry is British, but in 1978, he moved to Canada and became a Canadian Citizen

Hmm, Cheech and Chong or Gordon Lightfoot or Heart? Hmmm, Oh I had to go with "Earache My Eye" just because it's a funny song. I have it on mp3 a friend gave me and it's hysterical as hell. Especially Alice Bowie.

I went with Hot Child In The City...so totally love that song! Sweet City Woman was a close second...had it been Wild Eyes instead I would have gone with the Stampeders for sure!
