80's Soundtrack Poll

I still dig Purple Rain overall. Footloose was a decent pop soundtrack. I also like Dream A Little Dream, Pretty In Pink and The Breakfast Club.

Re: 80's Soundtrack Poll

"Purple Rain" for me as well.

My runners-up would be another Prince soundtrack, "Batman", "Pretty In Pink", "Vision Quest", and "Electric Dreams".

Re: 80's Soundtrack Poll

I also chose Purple Rain as my fave 80s soundtrack. That's NOW of course...back then it was probably Footloose or Flashdance as I played both of those to death lol!

Re: 80's Soundtrack Poll

Far too many to count, lol. 'Weird Science' edged it today but I know tomorrow I am going to think 'Flashdance'.

Runners up definitely include Electric Dreams, Labyrinth (Magic Dance) and Neverending Story - all phenomenal songs.

Re: 80's Soundtrack Poll

"Teachers" is my all-time favourite soundtrack of the 80s

Some trivia: Two of the 4 hits on it are Canadian ... "Edge of A Dream" by Joe Cocker and "Teacher Teacher" by 38 Special were both written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance
