Re: Super Bowl XL

I'm going with the line on this one. I think the Steelers will win it. We'll find out soon enough.

I'll go ahead and say Seattle just because. Should be a good game.

Re: Super Bowl XL

From an article on CNNSI.com:

The other day, the ghosts of Seattle-born Jimi Hendrix and Pittsburgh-born Andy Warhol established the parameters of their Super Bowl bet. Hendrix is offering a cloud of purple haze against Warhol's can of Campbell's soup.

Warhol's so confident, he's even laying the points.

I think the Steelers will squeak it out.

I know I won't watch it, so I don't really care. Jason's 1st birthday is WAY more important than watching some overpaid jackasses throwing a ball around.

Re: Super Bowl XL

I'm going with the Steelers based on pure experience alone. They have some whilst the 'Hawks only have their coach, who has only been to one Super Bowl...and he lost. I think it will be close though.

Actually, I thought Mike Holmgren won a Super Bowl with the Packers back in 1997. Was he not the coach when Green Bay beat (sorry, TV9) the Patriots?

Re: Super Bowl XL

Yeah, Holmgren won with GB against the Pats but lost against Denver the following year. I think Cowher would have won in 1994 if his QB hadn't been fucking Neil O'Donnell.

I think Bill Cowher told O'Donnell to fuck himself after the game so the failure was contained

Absolutely right...stupid O'Donnell! As for Holmgren. Yeah his Packers lost to my Broncos, he never really got along with Brett Favre AND late in that game one of the Packers was called for a personal foul face-mask penalty after nearly pulling Terell Davis' head off. And Holmgren? He complained to the REF!! What a moron! Also, Bill Cowher lots of class and he and Mike Shanahan are good friends so....Go Steelers!!!

You probably know more about the NFL than I do about anything Canadian!
