Favourite Australian 80's Song

Tough choice, but I settled on 'Under the Milky Way'

Re: Favourite Australian 80's Song

Wasn't too tough for me, but it was close between Back in Black and Who Can It Be Now.

Re: Favourite Australian 80's Song

My favourite is one that was a surprise Top 40 hit here in Canada ... "Too Many Times" by Mental As Anything

Though I also really like "Original Sin" by INXS which was their first Top 20 hit in Canada

Who Can It Be Now? - Men at Work. Great band, great song. There were a few others I would have had a hard time choosing between if this one wasn't there.

Re: Favourite Australian 80's Song

Geez, I missed a few of these polls.

"Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House. I almost always have to vote for anything Finn-related. Second place would be a massive tie with The Church, Divinyls, and Icehouse all fighting it out.

Re: Favourite Australian 80's Song

I don't have a fave. I love all the above PLUS

Send me an angel - Real Life
Electric Blue - Icehouse
Crazy - Icehouse
Many many songs by Rick Springfield
Overkill - Men at work
It's a mistkae - Men at work

Even Olivia Newton John had some tolerable songs in the 80s.

Moving Pictures - What about me? and Never were good songs too
