Re: Shamelessly stolen quiz #1
OK, to get the last one answered...
I'll open it up to anyone that wants to answer - screw the limit!
Hint: The artist is an export of a country other then US (that'll narrow it down lmao)

Why have another winner! Good job!
I used a small portion of the album cover (Bryan's heiney) in all fairness because we had a cleavage shot of Mariah, so I had to do one for the ladies. lol
Well done, all of you!

Oh, I didn't do the cleavage shot of Mariah Carey for the fellas. I did it because I thought it was funny and because cleavage is about all she's worth these days.

While her cleavage is probably one of her selling points, I think she more proud of her gams and her flat tummy (which I have no hope of ever having myself.) lol or at least it seems like she is most proud of those particular features in the way she presents access to them for the general public to view. But hell, who am I to complain? If I had a body like hers, I might consider putting it on display as well. Sorry, guess I'm in a bit of rambling mood this morning (as opposed to any other time I tend to ramble.)
I do tend to like her earlier songs better (although I did like "Always be my baby"). I read just last night where she is apparently going to attempt film acting again, having accepted a role in a movie where she plays a country singer of all things.
OK, I think I'm finished now. [ /ramble]

Re: Shamelessly stolen quiz #1
I was fine with her through her first two, maybe three, albums. Then it just seemed to all turn into dreck. I must admit a weakness for "Fantasy" but I think that's more because of the whole Tom Tom Club thing. And you can dance to it. DANCE PUPPETS DANCE.
She really shouldn't act again. Wait. That would imply she's acted in the first place. We watched "Glitter" one night. We thought it would be fun to rent two movies we KNEW would be crappy, get drunk, and make fun of them MST3K style. Yes, we have no lives. But anyway, we rented "The Last Dragon" and "Glitter". "The Last Dragon" was first and it was easy. We ripped through that poor movie like a hot knife through butter. Then "Glitter" came on.
"Glitter" was such an unengaging, dull, poorly-acted, poorly-written, poorly-everything pile of festering rhino dung that we couldn't even mock it. It was just painful and miserable. Like when Andie MacDowell starts singing country songs in "Michael". Eye-gouging, ear-bleeding, movie-vanishes-in-a-blood-red-haze bad. Mariah Carey, as an "actress", gives off all the charisma of a New Yawk career hooker with a rasping cough and a colony of cold sores. It was a two-hour car wreck. I think the only reason we finished it is because we kept hoping she'd be decent and die at the end.
I guess that story had no real purpose except to say "Don't watch 'Glitter'. EVER." But you probably knew that already.

lol I shall take your advice and keep it close to my heart. I have not yet seen Glitter, and yes... I *was* actually contemplating watching it if it ever came on a movie channel I have...if I have nothing better to watch...and if I'm tired of being on the computer.... (alot of if's in there, I know.) Heck I haven't even seen Ishtar yet, so it was gonna be a long wait anyways.
Yeah I think I liked the sampling of Tom Tom Club as well (that and she rides a roller coaster in the video which I, myself, love to do as well.)
I am glad though that she did finally stop the ear-bleedingly piercing howls that she often did for the beginning of her career. I was never a big fan of those, myself.

Re: Shamelessly stolen quiz #1
I watched part of Glitter and it's a BAD movie. It's up there on the worst movies list with Spies Like Us and Ishtar.
