The answer is: Fact.

The 1957 pilot episode "Captain Jack" told the story of Wally and Beaver ordering a pet alligator and hiding it in the tank of a toilet. It was considered bad taste to show a bathroom, much less a toilet, on network TV at that time, so the censors delayed the airing of the episode a few weeks. It wasn't aired until the network and the production company made a compromise and agreed to show a toilet tank but not the toilet itself.

Jeez, if that was considered bad taste, can you imagine what they would have thought of today's trash television?

The Hermitage Museum is in the Winter Palace, which was originally built by Peter the Great for his daughter Empress Elisabeth, who died before it was completed. The museum was founded by Catherine the Great in 1764 when she purchased over 200 paintings from the city of Berlin. Today, it houses over 3 million works of art. The Louvre, by contrast, owns only about 350,000.

I got so caught up in looking at apartments and stuff, that I forgot to post the answer. It was indeed crap.

Dopey had no facial hair. Only one dwarf (Doc) wore glasses. But all of them wore pointy hats, lived in a forest, and whistled while they worked.

It is a fact.

"Katharine the Great" achieved this feat- and the four golden Oscar statues- over a period of years. She won the awards for "Morning Glory" (1933), "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (1967), "The Lion in Winter" (1968), and "On Golden Pond" (1981). The only other actress to win more than twice is Ingrid Bergman, with two Best Actress Oscars (and one for Best Supporting Actress).

It's sad but true.

The United Nations estimates more than 2 million Sudanese people have died as a result of the civil war between the north and south over the last 17 years. Even now, 300 Sudanese die every day as a result of war related causes, and more than 4.5 million citizens (nearly 80% of the southern Sudanese population) have been forced to flee their homes. This massive loss of life surpasses the civilian death toll in any war since World War II.
