Metal Shop Updates
I've been hard at work getting ready for our second LIVE Metal Shop. Almost got it ready. Still working on the playlist which so far will have a few little "surprises" in it...Tune in! Friday 7 PM EST. And a reminder the following friday (Feb 23) there will be no metal shop show as it's Mine and Chooch's Anniversary. But metal Shop will return Friday March 2nd.

The Ajax Chat that vamp installed looks very promising! Flashchat caused my stream server to crash last week (As those who tuned in well know). Part of what I've been working on is preventing or reducing the possibilities of crashes. Ajax promises to assist in that endeavor.
I'm also toying with a new Closing sound clip to replace Porky Pig...something more "Metalesque".

NEW Update!
Starting in March, the First friday will be the "HARD Metal Show". This show will feature bands like Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and other "non-glam" metal Acts!

WOW! I think this is the absolute record for fastest Playlist creation I've ever done for a weekly show! Less then 24 hours after the last Metal Shop show ended, it is DONE! Now I get to sit on it for two weeks and make sure all systems are once again up to par for the Mar 2 Debut of the new "Special" show! I'm now listening to the songs in the playlist (I do this for QA reasons), and so far it is Kicking major ASS!!! I'll give you a small sample of what to Expect:
Overkill, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, and LOTS More!!!

June 3rd! Mark that date on your calendars. I will start the show with not 1, not 2, but count 'em SIX (That's not a typo folks) Indie bands! Most bands I find submit Metal Shop to their friends list on metal shop's Myspace, and roughly HALF make it to Airplay. So tune in to hear 6 that made the cut.
The upcoming show is just about ready to air! So be sure to tune in then as well!

On May 18, 2007, Tombztone has been re-incarnated as Mark II of Ripper. I did not get this news until yesterday so any Future references to what WAS Tombztone will be referred to as Ripper.

Lately, Metal Shop has undergone quite a "slump". I take the blame for that myself. So, until further notice, Metal Shop will be on Hiatus as I build up a better Library and Gather needed stuff to make the show really rock! At this point I do not know when (or even if) the show will return. Watch this thread for any future updates.
For our regular "Mobsters" and those Indie Bands featured I apologize in advance!
