The stumper is a feature of the Saturday Night All 80's Request Show. Consisiting of bits of songs from the 80's, the objective is to correctly identify all 10 artists and titles in the stumper. The first person to correctly identify all 10 artists and titles is awarded a $10 prize (Yeah, not much, but hey, we don't get paid at all. ) - UPDATE 05/05 - Due to no winner at this time, the prize has been increased to $20! Take a shot!
IN this thread you will find a copy of the current stumper. When someone wins, I just add the next one. Feel lucky? Then go for it.

Thom, I admit defeat. I haven't made an ounce of progress on this since you debuted it. I slowed it down and everything and I'm still stumped. You win.
All of the songs are in regular rotation on RR. None of them are in the request-only lists. I know you don't know what is in what list, but basically, if it was a Top 40 track, it's in the regular rotation list. I believe every one of these scored in the top 40 at some point.

2,162 songs hit the American Top 40 between 1980 and 1989. Thanks for narrowing it down for us.

Of course, it's possible one or two came from as late as '92. But hey, that still eliminates over 5,000 possibilities, right?
This is up to those who sent me guesses so far, but how about I post the correct answers, and any future correct ones, kinda like a terrestrial station does when they do a contest like this? Of course, I could only do that to an extent, so I want to run it by you guys.

I say no. Not unless the thing's been up there for a very long period of time. I don't really think it's fair to those that have worked on guessing the correct ones to have someone come along with half the answers already figured out for them and win the prize.

I have to concur. We've all worked with each other before on these types of things, sure. But I also don't like the idea of someone knowing 1-2 answers and benefitting off everyone else's work.
I'd also like to add I don't care much for the idea of someone that doesn't commonly listen to the request show possibly winning.
