View Poll Results: Battle of the Bands #1 - Def Leppard vs Van Halen
As part of the plan to introduce the Sunday Afternoon Artist block, we decided to make it so YOU decide just what artist it is that gets featured each Sunday. To do so, we're doing it in an old-fashioned "Battle of the Bands" format. The winner of each week's battle will be featured in an hour long presentation on Sunday afternoon of that week, where you will be treated to an hour, from 4 PM EST to 5 PM EST, of random tracks from that artist.
Our first selection of combatants vying for your listening pleasure are two 80's heavyweights. In this corner we have the unofficial patron saints of Renegade Retro.... DEF LEPPARD!!!
And in this corner, a band with multiple personalities and the endless debates over which versions were better.... VAN HALEN!!!

Def Leppard here as well. They are far more consistent than VH was. I KNOW pretty much who I'll hear on a given DL track. Joe Elliott sounds like Joe Elliot...No picking between DLR or Hagar here.
