Sorry about the delay in posting this, work beckoned me out of town.
That's right, the Sunday Afternoon Artist block returns again this week, bringing with it the fourth edition of the "Battle of the Bands". The winner of this week's battle will be featured in an hour long presentation on Sunday afternoon, where you will be treated to an hour, from 4 PM EST to 5 PM EST, of random tracks from the winning artist.
Our fourth selection of combatants vying for your votes brings us a battle of Southern-fried Rock! In this corner we have.... .38 SPECIAL!!!
And in this corner, the guys with the fuzzy faces AND the fuzzy guitars.... ZZ TOP!!!

This is a tough one, and I almost went with .38 Special, but in the end ZZ Top edged 'em out when I heard Sharp Dressed Man on the radio. It just brings a smile to my face.

TOUGH call...I love both bands! In the end though, I had to go with ZZ Top for the sheer amount of great music they have put out and their longevity in the business.
Plus their drummer's last name is Beard and he's the only member of the group that doesn't have one!!
