Because I failed to get a Battle of the Bands poll up this week, I gave a random chatter on Friday Night the opportunity to pick today's artist, and that chatter was our own Rice_Cube, who selected.... DEPECHE MODE.

Playing Donkey Kong in the arcade listening to Weird Al brings back some long suppressed memories from my kittenhood! Enjoying the Sunday afternoon artist immensely today.
While it's just under the gun, I know for a fact that today's featured artist is going to be ROXETTE. I begged for this one. I'm a huge Roxette fan. They know how to write a great pop hook. It starts on RR in just a few minutes at 4pm Eastern. Wheeeeeeeeee!
Edited to add: OK, so it'll start a speck late for some reason. We'll say 4:15pm give or take a couple minutes.

How 'bout another band battle before it's all over? I'm just a proponent because when I'm home on Sundays I enjoy spending my day tuning in to the shows. That being said, unfortunately I may miss the 4 PM EST show this Sunday as I'm scheduled to meet up with me family for lunch on the westsiiiiide.
I'm a wee bit late to listening to the Sunday Afternoon artist, but nevertheless I'm sitting here with my lace gloves and crucifix and pearl necklaces aroung my neck singing along.
What about a Roxette vs. Eurthymics BotB? Since they are both male/female duos.
