No one is saying to do this. But when it's a running gag that the person picked isn't going to be tuned in, that says something. It happens far more than the person picked actually being tuned in.
Well....In my own defense I didn't know MY pool was going to be selected! I never know WHO'S pool is gonna be played!

Bravo on all counts there NewRo! I tune in to the live shows not just the music, but the fact I consider the DJ's Friends (Even You NewRo) and like to hear the antics! Good music is an added bonus! I like to think between Renegade Retro and City Of Glass, we offer a little something for Every 80s fan! Pop, Rock, Metal, Alternative! Unless you are a strictly country fan, I really don't see the reason why we don't have more listeners to either station!

Well, that's kinda the point of the show, isn't it? NO ONE knows whose pool is going to be selected until it IS selected. Not even me. And that's the point of my confusion and frustration. Most people create pools and add songs, and then don't tune in to see if they got selected, or to hear their friends selections, or to even just make fun of someone's choices. I don't understand the point of making a pool for a show it appears most people aren't even really bothering with.

I actually use my pool on a weekly basis to request some of my favorite songs on the station since they are all grouped together there with active links and everything. Just makes it easy to look at my own pool listing and click away.
Congratulations NewRo on getting your pool randomly picked. Paul McCartney to start huh? Who'da thunk it? Actually I like that song (No more lonely nights) anyways so it's good to hear again.
There's alot of songs I've never heard of from artists I've liked. I guess they never played them on my Top 40 station or on Mtv when I was watching (back in the day). I didn't have the money back then to buy all the cassettes of the artists I liked and youtube wasnt around yet. So I'm glad the software picked some of the more unheard of (at least for me) choices from your pool.
