With the new website, some new possibilities for Renegade retro have opened up, and I think we're ready to explore one of them.
So, debuting Sunday, April 1 at 6:00 PM EST, prepare yourself for the Renegade Retro Listener Show!
As you browse through the playlist at Renegade Retro, to make requests or rate songs, or comment on songs or even add lyrics to songs, you'll notice a few items when picking/dedicating your song, as shown below:
When you place a check mark in the box for the chosen song(s), and then click "Submit Pool" those songs get added into your personal Pool of songs. What does this mean?
The software we use at Renegade Retro will choose a random Station Member every Sunday and pick an hour's worth of songs from that member's pool of songs. A member's pool can not exceed 500 songs, but must contain at least 50 songs for consideration by the software.
This allows you to tailor the show based on your own criteria.
Battle of the Bands Winner Show not enough for you? Fill your pool with songs by the winning artist.
Want to play some of the more obscure songs in the playlist? Fill that pool!
So get those pools filled up and tune in on Sunday at 6 PM EST. It could be YOUR show!

Yeah, I'm finding a couple items wrong here. I'm going to work on them this week, but it's possible this feature may not take off next weekend as planned.

Vamp, You've never let us down, and I Seriously doubt you're gonna start anytime soon. Time = Perfection! I like the idea of the Listener Show. it can warm up listeners for Metal Shop (Insert huge devilish grin here). Plus it would be interesting to see what members come up with!
It's known insofar as that those tracks don't have an album in the ID3 tag. That's a separate issue that I'm slowly working on, that will likely take some time to complete. Basically, I have to go through every single artist in the playlist tracking them down and adding the information. It's been a process I've been working on for about 3 years now.
