I think it was a very much planned murder and not a robbery. They said his house had been broken into a couple of weeks before, and then this. Someone had it out for him.

That poor guy was in all kinds of trouble throughout his life and career it seems...the sucky thing is that he wasn't even playing much this season due to injury and was just relaxing at home...

The funny thing is that New England passed almost exclusively and yet the Steelers never adjusted...it's like they decided to blitz no matter what, or just didn't play man-to-man, or just didn't care...
Bummer that we didn't get CBS so I could see what the heck Pittsburgh did wrong.
And what was Brady doing still in the game at with two minutes left and a 3-TD lead? AND PASSING??? Run out the clock and go home. Sometimes I wonder about this team.

God, PLEASE don't get started on the "what was Brady still doing in the game" crap. The man wants the record. He's got 3 more games to get it. Let him have it, the O-Line does a good job of keeping him safe.

Hell, I say keep 'em in anyway. You're making millions of dollars. Get your ass out there and play. I don't care if you get hurt. Getting hurt is part of the game, too. Earn that stack of cash.
The thing is, though, with the Pats, you don't want Brady to get hurt because A) the backup QBs are shit and B) you have NO running game. Which means: Brady hurt = U R FUCT.

What team have you been watching this season? Kassel's performed well in games where they've let him play in the second half. And I think Maroney's proven himself to be an effective running back so far.

The Patriots are a lot more than just Tom Brady.
Kassel performs well because all he does is hand off But the O-line is so good that he can probably make some good throws. I don't think the Pats run enough but Belichick's probably resourceful enough to make it work.
I think it's a better idea to take Brady out once you have a 3 TD lead in the fourth quarter instead of letting him fire away. 1- passing stops the clock and 2- one day, one of the O-line is going to mess up and you're gonna get a broken Brady. Which, as I have stated before, is not ideal.

I can't believe the starters are still playing, but hey, 16-0 and going into the postseason with a killer edge can be a good thing
I'm happy as a fan of football that the Pats actually ran the ball a bunch today. In fact, they just scored a rushing TD. Yay.

Well well...16-0. This Super Bowl should be interesting, assuming the Pats get there. Of course, there's little doubt that they won't get there...

The Giants sure as hell played THEIR starters, and they didn't play for exhibition either, they played to WIN. Why wouldn't the Pats play theirs? Perfect season on the line, 3 records to break, and a bye next week to rest. They're PAID to do this. And I daresay their coaching staff knows a little more about what they should or shouldn't do than we do.

GODDAMNED RIGHT there's little doubt. Now quit playing the Devil's advocate before I roundhouse kick you in your peezy ass head, bish!
Upon reading this again today, it came across really nasty instead of tongue-in-cheek as it was intended. I'm sorry, Rice. That was the Goldschlager talking.
I'm thinking that if it works for the Pats, then they shouldn't have to fix anything. The RBs aren't the huge number guys like a LaDainian Tomlinson or a Willie Parker but they get the job done, and the O-line is almost impenetrable so it's not like they couldn't pass every down as they showed in the Pittsburgh game. I don't see any reason why the Pats wouldn't go all the way as long as everyone stays healthy, which is why I was questioning leaving the starters in so long. But what do I know, I'm not a coach
