Isn't being the number 2 seed in the conference a GOOD thing? Then again, the GM has built 3 championship teams (maybe a fourth if the Avs hadn't been so lucky) so I guess he knows what he's doing...but damn.

It's crazy!! I guess being 2nd in the conference and having over 100 points is a bad thing in NJ! This is actually the 3rd time Lou's done this so I guess he knows what he's doing...
I hope Julien speaks up at some point or we will never know the whole story as to why this actually happened. It has to be personal conflict. I see no other reason. His coaching is exemplary....still...

WE'RE PLAYING CALGARY AGAIN?! Oy. That's quickly becoming the new Detroit-Colorado.
Although I'm excited the Thrashers are in the playoffs because they're playing the Rangers and Brendan Shanahan is on the Rangers and I love him and he'll be here in Atlanta and then I can try and get tickets. WHEE!!!!

You'd better hurry and camp out if you want to get reasonably priced tickets. The moment the Canes got to the Stanley Cup finals back in '02 I tried to get tickets but by the time I got to the arena it was slam packed and a couple hours later scalpers had thrown the tix on ebay at an insane markup.
I hate scalpers.

A couple of years ago the Red Wings had a triple OT game and I thought it was never going to end. I would like the league to do away with the tons of OTs in the playoffs and if after 2 there is no winner yet, go to a shoot-out.
