Why your resume annoys employers

I've been thinking about getting a new job and need to redesign my resume, and I just happened to come across this article and thought it interesting. Alot of it is common sense, but also some of it goes against all of those resume writing books out there so it's worth a look at.

Re: Why your resume annoys employers

My thoughts...

1. I thought objectives and goals were a good thing to have on a resume so they know WTF you want to do in the company?

2. Who puts their physical attributes or hobbies on a resume?

3. In some jobs they want all the details of every job/task you've ever undertaken of significance...it's how they know you're skilled and qualified as opposed to other candidates. It's also possible to sell oneself as confident rather than arrogant, so the bragging thing is sort of a non-issue.

4. I liked how that woman who killed her husband was honest...I wonder if he deserved it.

Otherwise I think I agree with the other stuff.
